Dopo il successo degli appuntamenti di Varsavia e Belgrado, il road show internazionale del progetto Metaverso Raffaello si prepara a concludere il proprio percorso europeo presso la Aydın University di Istanbul, dove docenti, ricercatori e studenti avranno l’opportunità di approfondire i risultati del progetto e confrontarsi sulle prospettive offerte dall’integrazione tra patrimonio culturale, creatività, intelligenza artificiale e tecnologie digitali.
L’evento rappresenta il momento conclusivo del programma di disseminazione internazionale del progetto e conferma la volontà di consolidare il dialogo con prestigiose istituzioni accademiche europee, promuovendo il patrimonio artistico e culturale italiano attraverso nuovi linguaggi e strumenti innovativi.
Anche la tappa di Istanbul riproporrà il format che ha caratterizzato gli incontri precedenti, articolato in tre momenti tematici.
Il primo appuntamento sarà dedicato al talk “The Future of Cinema Between New Languages, Digital Technologies, and AI”, che analizzerà l’evoluzione del linguaggio cinematografico nell’era dell’intelligenza artificiale e delle nuove tecnologie digitali. A seguire sarà proiettato SAKURA, il cortometraggio realizzato nell’ambito del progetto in occasione dell’Expo Mondiale di Osaka, esempio concreto di sperimentazione tra ricerca artistica e innovazione tecnologica.
Novità della tappa di Istanbul sarà la presenza del Conservatorio “G. B. Pergolesi” di Fermo, che proporrà una performance musicale dal vivo. Questo momento artistico, autonomo rispetto alle altre attività della giornata, arricchirà il programma dell’evento, offrendo ai partecipanti un’ulteriore testimonianza della qualità e della vitalità delle istituzioni AFAM coinvolte nel progetto e sottolineando il valore dell’integrazione tra le diverse discipline artistiche.
Seguirà il talk “Immersive Scenography and Videomapping”, dedicato alle nuove frontiere della scenografia digitale e alle applicazioni delle tecnologie immersive nel mondo dell’arte e dell’entertainment. L’intervento illustrerà le potenzialità del videomapping e degli strumenti digitali nella progettazione di spazi scenici ed esperienze culturali innovative.
L’evento si concluderà con “Italian Design and the Legacy of Marche Design – Design as a Cultural Resource to Protect and Promote”, un approfondimento dedicato al MaDe Museum – Marche Design Museum, il museo digitale sviluppato nell’ambito del progetto Metaverso Raffaello. Attraverso il racconto delle eccellenze produttive marchigiane sarà illustrato il ruolo del design italiano quale patrimonio culturale da valorizzare e promuovere a livello internazionale.
Con la tappa di Istanbul si conclude un percorso che ha coinvolto tre prestigiose università europee, rafforzando la dimensione internazionale del progetto Metaverso Raffaello e promuovendo un modello di innovazione che mette in dialogo cinema, musica, design, arti digitali e nuove tecnologie, valorizzando il patrimonio culturale italiano in una prospettiva europea.
Metaverse Raffaello International Roadshow Concludes in Istanbul: Aydın University Hosts the Final Event on Cinema, Music, Digital Scenography and Italian Design
Following the successful events in Warsaw and Belgrade, the Metaverse Raffaello International Roadshow is set to conclude its European tour at Istanbul Aydın University, where lecturers, researchers and students will have the opportunity to explore the project’s achievements and discuss the opportunities created by the integration of cultural heritage, creativity, Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies.
The event marks the final stage of the project’s international dissemination programme and reaffirms its commitment to strengthening collaboration with leading European academic institutions while promoting Italy’s artistic and cultural heritage through innovative approaches and emerging technologies.
As in the previous events, the Istanbul programme will be structured around three thematic sessions.
The opening session, “The Future of Cinema Between New Languages, Digital Technologies, and AI,” will examine the evolution of cinematic language in the era of Artificial Intelligence and digital innovation. The presentation will be followed by the screening of SAKURA, the short film produced within the framework of the project for the World Expo Osaka, providing a compelling example of the integration of artistic research and technological innovation.
A distinctive feature of the Istanbul event will be the participation of the State Conservatory of Music “G.B. Pergolesi” of Fermo, which will present a live musical performance. Conceived as an independent artistic moment within the programme, this performance will further enrich the event by showcasing the excellence and vitality of the AFAM institutions participating in the project and by highlighting the value of interdisciplinary collaboration across the different artistic fields.
The programme will continue with the session “Immersive Scenography and Videomapping,” focusing on the latest developments in digital scenography and the application of immersive technologies in the fields of art and entertainment. The presentation will demonstrate how videomapping and advanced digital tools are transforming the design of stage environments and innovative cultural experiences.
The event will conclude with “Italian Design and the Legacy of Marche Design – Design as a Cultural Resource to Protect and Promote,” a presentation dedicated to the MaDe Museum – Marche Design Museum, the digital museum developed within the Metaverse Raffaello project. Through a selection of outstanding examples from the Marche Region’s manufacturing tradition, the session will illustrate the role of Italian design as a cultural asset to be preserved, promoted and shared internationally.
The Istanbul event brings to a close a dissemination programme that has involved three prestigious European universities, further strengthening the international dimension of the Metaverse Raffaello project and promoting a model of innovation that brings together cinema, music, design, digital arts and emerging technologies while enhancing Italy’s cultural heritage within a European and international perspective.
